Cross a suspension bridge and climb 3300 steps to Ulleri, a lively Magar village, where caravans and mule carts add to the experience.
After a fulfilling breakfast in Ulleri, begin your trek towards Ghorepani, crossing a suspension bridge and climbing steep stone stairs. Continue to Nangethanti, then ascend to Ghorepani (2880m). After an early breakfast, you head towards Kuldighar, where the forest clears to reveal a steep rocky bank. Passing a peaceful pasture, you reach Pantheon (Pujinim) Barah, marked by a small trail and a quiet shrine. Finally, you arrive at Deurali, where you'll rest for the night in the tranquility of the surrounding mountains.
Today, you’ll trek past Machhapuchhre Base Camp (a restricted area) towards the Annapurna Base Camp, nestled within the stunning Annapurna Sanctuary, surrounded by towering peaks. After a short break at MBC, it’s a two-hour hike to Annapurna Base Camp, where you’ll enjoy breathtaking views. You’ll spend the night here, immersed in the mountains' majesty.
Leaving the Annapurna region behind, you begin your descent toward Bamboo Village, following the winding path along the Modi Khola River. The trail leads you through dense forests and tranquil landscapes, gradually descending into the valley. Your day begins with a departure from Bamboo, as you trek towards Jhinu Danda. The trail winds through the picturesque slopes of Chhomrong, passing Kuldi Ghar along the way. Soon, you’ll arrive at Jhinu Danda and cross one of Kaski district's longest and tallest suspension bridges. From here, a scenic drive takes you to Pokhara, where you can enjoy the lively atmosphere of the city.
