This is a full day trip to Hoi An on a shared coach, with hotel pickup around 8 AM. A guide takes you through the main places to visit in Hoi An: the UNESCO-listed Ancient Town, the evening lantern streets, a boat ride with the chance to release a lantern on the river, and a short, slightly bumpy ride through the water coconut forest in a round basket boat. There’s also time to browse the local markets and riverside shops.

An early start, with hotel pickup between 7 and 8 AM, kicks off the most scenic day of the package. The Ba Na Hills cable car climbs through forested mountains before reaching the Golden Bridge, a walkway held up by two giant stone hands (you’ll see why travelers call it the golden hands bridge the moment you step onto it). From there you can explore the streets and gardens of Ba Na Hills French Village, and take in wide mountain views before the coach brings you back down in the afternoon.

Today swaps mountains for the sea. A speedboat takes you out to Cham Island, where the water is clear enough for decent snorkeling close to shore. Life jackets and snorkeling gear are provided, so there's nothing to bring or rent yourself. The rest of the day is free time to swim, sit on the beach, or just enjoy being somewhere quieter than the mainland.
