Detailed Itinerary

Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu, an Advensa Travel representative will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel in a private tourist vehicle. After check-in, you'll attend a brief pre-trek briefing with your guide to review the itinerary, trekking essentials, and answer any questions.

Note: Please bring two passport-sized photos, your original passport, and a copy of your travel insurance policy to complete the necessary trekking permit arrangements.

After breakfast, your guide will pick you up from your hotel for a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Jagat, the gateway to the Annapurna Circuit Trek. The journey begins on a paved highway to Besisahar, offering beautiful views of rivers, terraced fields, waterfalls, and snow-capped peaks. From Besisahar, continue along a rugged mountain road through traditional villages, including Bhulbhule, Ngadi, and Syange, before arriving in Jagat, where your Himalayan trekking adventure officially begins.

Today, your Annapurna Circuit Trek begins as you follow the scenic Marsyangdi River Trail toward Chamje, a beautiful Himalayan village known for its impressive waterfalls. From Chamje, a short steep climb of around 30 minutes takes you across a suspension bridge to Tal Village, where you will complete the Annapurna Conservation Area Permit (ACAP) check and enjoy views of a spectacular waterfall.
The trail continues through rugged terrain, passing a narrow gorge near Chaijo and crossing another suspension bridge along the way. After a few hours of trekking, you will reach Karte (1,829 m). The route then climbs steadily toward Dharapani, a traditional mountain village decorated with chortens and mani walls. As the gateway to the Manang district, Dharapani is an important stop on the Annapurna Circuit Trek in Nepal, offering stunning Himalayan scenery and cultural experiences.

Today, your Annapurna Circuit Trek continues from Dharapani to Chame, passing through the villages of Thonche and Bagarchhap, where Hindu and Buddhist cultures blend beautifully. The trail winds through pine forests to Danakyu, offering stunning views of Mount Manaslu, before climbing to Timang, a scenic ridge with panoramic Himalayan views.

Continue through the peaceful Latamro Forest to Thanchok, a Tibetan-influenced village decorated with chortens and prayer flags. The trail then reaches Koto, the gateway to Nar-Phu Valley, before arriving at Chame (2,710 m), the district headquarters of Manang, with teahouses, shops, a health post, and a bank for trekkers.

Today, your Annapurna Circuit Trek continues with an early morning hike from Chame, crossing a suspension bridge over the Marsyangdi River with breathtaking views of Lamjung Himal and the Annapurna range. After about an hour, you will reach Brathang, home to Nepal’s largest apple farm.

The trail continues across the Swargadwari Bridge into a beautiful U-shaped valley near Dukure Pokhari, where the landscape changes to dramatic rock cliffs. You then arrive at Pisang, which is divided into Lower Pisang and Upper Pisang. Lower Pisang offers stunning views of Pisang Peak and the Annapurna range, while Upper Pisang is a traditional Himalayan village reached by a 50-minute uphill walk.

Today, your trek begins with a steep climb offering spectacular views of Annapurna II and Annapurna III. After around 3 hours of trekking, you will reach Gyaru, a peaceful Tibetan-style village, followed by Ngawal, which offers panoramic views of snow-capped peaks, surrounding hills, and the valley below.

The trail descends through Yak pastures and alpine fields, with the landscape becoming drier and rockier as you approach Braga, famous for its ancient 900-year-old Buddhist Gompa. As you near Manang, enjoy breathtaking views of the Annapurna range, Gangapurna, and Tilicho Peak. Manang, one of the largest villages on the Annapurna Circuit Trek, provides excellent facilities and a perfect place for acclimatization.

Today is dedicated to acclimatization and rest in Manang to help your body adjust to the increasing altitude. Take a short hike to the beautiful Ganggapurna Tal, a freshwater lake formed by the Ganggapurna Peak and Glacier. The easy round-trip hike takes around 2 hours, with a 50-minute walk from Manang to the lake.

For even better views of the Ganggapurna Glacier, you can hike slightly higher above the lake. This acclimatization day offers a perfect chance to enjoy stunning Himalayan scenery while preparing for the higher sections of the Annapurna Circuit Trek.

Today’s Annapurna Circuit Trek continues with a short and scenic walk from Manang to Yak Kharka. Leaving Manang, the trail climbs gradually through farmland and stone-walled paths, offering beautiful views of Annapurna III and Gangapurna.

The route passes through Tengi, located between Yak Kharka and Tilicho Base Camp, before reaching Gunsang, where the landscape becomes drier with alpine shrubs. Following the Marsyangdi Khola, enjoy spectacular views of Chulu West and Chulu East. After crossing a wooden bridge, you will arrive at Yak Kharka, your peaceful overnight stop surrounded by stunning Himalayan scenery.

Today’s Annapurna Circuit Trek continues with a gradual ascent through rocky meadows along the Kone Khola. After about an hour of trekking, you will reach Letdar (Ledar), where trekking permits are checked before continuing toward higher elevations.

The trail then leads to Thorung Phedi, the final settlement before crossing the famous Thorong La Pass (5,416 m). This section becomes more challenging due to the increasing altitude and rugged mountain terrain. For better acclimatization and an easier climb the next day, you can optionally hike to Thorung High Camp, located around 300–400 meters above Phedi and reachable in about 1–1.5 hours.

Today is the most rewarding day of the Annapurna Circuit Trek as you begin an early morning climb to the legendary Thorong La Pass (5,416 m). The challenging ascent through rocky terrain is rewarded with breathtaking views of Thorong Peak and the surrounding Himalayan mountains.

After reaching the pass, take time to enjoy the spectacular panoramic views before beginning the descent through Chambar Bhir toward Muktinath, a sacred pilgrimage site for both Hindus and Buddhists. Located above the Kali Gandaki Valley, Muktinath offers stunning views of Dhaulagiri and the surrounding Himalayan landscape, making this one of the most memorable sections of the Annapurna Circuit Trek in Nepal.

Today, trek continues from Muktinath, a sacred pilgrimage site famous for its eternal flame and holy water taps. Explore Jharkot’s Shakya Gompa before descending along the Kali Gandaki River toward Kagbeni, the historic gateway to Upper Mustang.

The trail continues through Ekle Bhatti before reaching Jomsom, the final destination of your trek. You can also choose an optional jeep ride from Muktinath to Jomsom at an additional cost for a more comfortable journey.

Before you leave the beautiful Himalayan valley, take a moment to carry the unforgettable memories of your Annapurna Circuit Trek with you. After completing this incredible journey, you will travel by jeep to Pokhara, where you’ll be transferred to your hotel to relax and reflect on your adventure.

Later, enjoy a relaxing stroll through the vibrant Lake City of Pokhara, explore its charming streets, and soak in the peaceful atmosphere surrounded by stunning natural beauty.

Take a scenic drive by bus from Pokhara to Kathmandu, enjoying beautiful views of lush green hills, traditional villages, and winding rivers along the way. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you’ll be transferred to your hotel to relax and reflect on your unforgettable Annapurna Circuit Trek experience.

In the evening, you can explore the vibrant streets of Kathmandu, visit local attractions, or enjoy a delicious Nepali meal while celebrating the completion of your Himalayan adventure.
